This reminds me off when I took my dad to maintenance to pay for my tertiary fees since his never contributed prior. He claimed im not his daughter, when DNA tests were requested. he took the matter for appeal to the high court that its his right to refuse DNA testing. I never bothered to defend the matter in high court I just left it there cause I cldnt afford a attorney. courts will drain you

this is actually sickening! same thing happened to me and I never went back saddest part is the magistrate was a woman!! he sat and lied and she just sat there and ate the lies...i was told we would be called back its been 3 years now and still nothing...the courts fail single parents

I am one of the dads that are still trying to get divorced and have a rule 43 in place paying 150k per month when my kids are 21 and 24 both working and the youngest having a trust worth close to 4 million but I don’t even speak to them as they have been poisoned against me and then get told that I financially abuse her because she has no money who stands up for us

I’m in the process of this… He’s asking for a reduction… now we need to go back again because he didn’t bring his evidence as to how he can’t afford to pay the garnish order.. 🫤🫤🫤 this is so draining

This confuses me because why do the courts allow the men to get away with they can't afford. so if the mother also can't afford.. what must happen? and please don't say govt grant because nobody can live on that in Cyrils economy 🥺🥺🥺🥺

im sitting in the same situation, my ex-husband took me to court and applied for a decrease on my daughter's maintenance, he told the court his not working (lies) n he can't afford it. The court granted the decrease.
