I tried to explain that being educated and skilled while being goal oriented, no matter what the goal, will better a person in the long run. They thought I was saying I was better than them for trying to better my life. I also did deserve to be any better because I started off with more than others. I don't deny I have privilege, I was trying to use it to help people, and all my efforts got me called a Karen😭. I asked if they wanted their kids to do better than they did, and they acted like I asked if they were going to off themselves 😫 It's weird out here
