I’m more upset about those that truly need it (medically needed per doctors and testing) cannot get it because of how polarized it is and how some celebrities (not you!) have put it into such focus that it’s unattainable because ins companies refuse to approve its use.

this is still being studied but they think glp1's could actually help manage autoimmune diseases. I wouldnt try it yet but I am very interested to see where that could go as treatments are so limited for us.

im on an glp1 but i have a long history of military diet/exercise and unable to lose weight due to pcos insulin resistance- i can eat whatever now and not worry about

When ozempic hit its peak in the mainstream Hollywood distribution, my mother suffered because her medication she needed was being used up. She had to go to off brands and it messed up her daily life. These trends have consequences for those who need the medication for diabetes and other conditions.

This is so well written and thoughtful. Thank you for this. I feel like our society just keeps bowing down to women who are underweight and don’t see that women come in all shapes & sizes. I thought we were over this mentality, but it doesn’t seem like it.
