There’s more variation between tire manufacturers than there is between metric and flotation sizes. Nitto’s run big, BFGoodrich are generally small for their size.

mine are 305 70 17s did the math and it came out to 34.4 and they are nito open country

My 35” Baja Boss’s were too wide due to such an aggressive sidewall that it hit my billet UCA’s. Had to switch to 35” Toyo’s RT to clear the arms. The Baja’s are such great tires I’ll tell ya

I Use Goodyear wrangler duratrac 315-70r-17 and the measure a little over 34 1/2 under load. But the width is wider than some of the guys in the club who have true 35s. Off road performance has been great off road and decent on road. I’m on my second set.

currently running 33x12.50's and 12.50/315 is a little too wide for places where it snows. Its not as bad as some people told me it would be but the front definetly floats at times. my last truck had 285's and I would love to try and find something in the middle of the two.
