I hate monkey bars!!! I work at a daycare that does after school care and I will not let the kids get on the monkey bars unless they can cross them unassisted and even then I’m standing right there! Hope that baby feels better soon!!

When I was a kid, I broke my elbow on them. The hospital room I was in had monkeys all over the wall. Each one represented a broken bone from monkey bars!

My mom is a retired school nurse of 20 years. They’re a problem. But also, maybe ask the principal to make sure the mulch is deep enough. Mulch should be a certain depth in school playgrounds and it does make a difference!

Monkey bars are a problem. If your child goes to a state licensed childcare facility (ie daycare or afterschool care) they don’t allow money bars for this exact reason.
