I agree, curtain must go!! Get a black curtain rail to run corner to corner, (and put it right on top almost next to the ceiling) white or off white curtain to brighten the space will do! Mirror with black trim by the corner 👌🏽

I think pendent lights with mirrors,you need nice bright colours to go with grey like turquise,red,orange,emerale green,canary yellow and so on that colours you can use for bedding and curtains and some displays
