a hotel guest tried to tell me they had to wait an hour for their room service but we can see what time we put orders in.. it was only 20 min and we told her before putting the order in that it takes 25-30min😭

me and another manager were in the back changing out sanitizer buckets and taking back dirty dishes and we were back there for maybe 30 seconds, a customer waited for about 10 seconds before she WALKED BEHIND OUR COUNTER to ask if we were going to take her order. She was, obviously, denied service and then was denied service at our other location down the road bc we called their GM to warn him.

Security here. We had a contractor say they waited over 20 mins for guard to return to desk but footage showed a total of 70 secs, from when he entered lobby to when he left lobby and drove off. Property manager "tossed" that info back. Lol

me at my job where I sometimes pick up phonecalls but prioritize people in front of me: person on hold: "I HAVE BEEN ON HOLD FOR 15 MINUTES" me: sir I have a call timer on my office phone... you've been waiting 6 minutes - 15 seconds it took to pick up the phone and say "hi thanks for calling [blank] please hold while I assist a guest in front of me."
