If you actually look online before you go you can book an airport transfer. You say how many people, how many cases etc and they provide you with a car. There was 6 of us and it cost $25 each and dropped us right outside our hotel. It was a Mercedes Vito. If you plan ahead it doesn’t have to be too expensive!

Taking children and suitcases on that long Metro ride is just wild. Put your hands in your pocket and get a taxi, so much quicker even with traffic.

Is it easy to get to Times Square from jfk by the subway or metro? Me and my Mrs are going in 2 weeks and are staying in Times Square so just trying to save money on travelling to and from jfk

Definitely get a weekly ticket for subway. Also take the ferry from pier 11 to Astoria but get off at Roosevelt island and take the cable car to city. Using your subway ticket

I absolutely agree, do not take a taxi, but…if you have booked a hotel in Brooklyn or Queens…take a uber or Lyft, it’s extremely inexpensive! I think this content creator got extremely lucky with the subway at Jamaica, the things I have seen! Including a man in an elevator inj*cting…the trick with the subway is be vigilant at all times, but also don’t stare at anyone 😂 regarding food, midtown isn’t it, branch out, the best places to eat are outside of midtown, including other boroughs, if you have done all the tourist stuff, definitely go eat some authentic food, Corona is great for central and South American food! And Flushing is absolutely my favorite place in nyc, you can find all south east and East Asian food, plus lots of fun things to do in the area!
