The Gnostic interpretation is that the God of the Old and New Testament are separate beings with conflicting morality. How would you reconcile that with the fact Jesus himself explicitly linked himself to the God of the Old Testament, calling him his Father and the one true God?

not mimic but to know the unknowable, the basic principle of Gnostics teachings is fullness and her (Sophia) curios to know what is fullness so she needs to know what lackness means, it's actually the very allegory of Adam and Eve, someone who's living in everything, seduced good and evil when in actuality the fullness and lack coz everything that's happening bad came from lackness. lack of empathy, lack of knowledge etc etc........
