He set her up to be alone. He could’ve told her before, so she didn’t have to be alone, but he purposely set up the situation so she was forced to be alone. She didn’t have an option she was forced to. He’s not ready to be a good dad and he’s not ready to be a good partner. The relationship is over.

Every single time I hear this premise it takes me back to the story where dad's secret mistress forbid him to be present at his child's birth so he spent the day crying in his car while his wife was in the hospital begging him to show up. It's one ox the few stories that made me actually nauscious. 😅
