The “chili” I grew up with has ground beef, tomatoes,potatoes,noodles,water,tomato juices,salt,pepper,and chili powder.

Ground beef, diced onion, garlic powder, onion powder, diced green chiles, small can of petite diced tomatoes, large can or crushed tomatoes, can of chili beans and a packet of chili seasoning. I always make jalapeno honey cornbread to go with it. Sometimes I add corn or bell peppers, but not always

I add chipotle in adobo sauce for smoky flavor. I've never added corn.. maybe I'll give it a try next time

I don’t put corn in mine however I think chili is really subjective that people make it so many different ways like there’s people that also consider chili not with beans in it but of course I put beans in mine every time. Lol.
