He’s basically doing a carnival trick to get an upper hand while dueling. Using a sideways stance, arm facing forward for maximum Range and gripping the end of the handle to give him that much more space and maneuverability. since this is a match where touch=win and not an actual back and forth duel it’s basically impossible for the other guy to win unless he did the same strategy or was highly skilled in defence..effective range is broken in melee combat and he’s just abusing it here😂😂👍
