@sallygrace_gardening: How to grow garlic in containers. You'll need the following: A container that is at least 6 inches deep, 10 inches is ideal. A good quality multipurpose compost. Garlic bulbs from a reputable supplier or farm shop. Fill the container with compost and split the garlic bulbs into individual cloves. Plant cloves 1 inch below the soil and 6 inches apart to allow space for bulbs to develop. I like to lay down a layer of mulch on top to suppress unwanted plants and feed the soil as it breaks down. Garlic planted between October and December will be ready to harvest in early summer. I'll post another video on how to tell when they'll be ready. #growinggarlic #containergarden #kitchengarden #beginnergardening #beginnergardenertips
