@heymakalea: Choosing a whole house white paint color took me months to choose 😅 Here’s my actual ranking & reviews of the 8 @sherwinwilliams white paint colors I sampled: 8. Pacer White: learned not to trust “white” in the name! SO grey! 7. Aesthetic White: same problem as Pacer but a little lighter. 6. Creamy: very pretty but pulled too yellow; I only tried it to see how it would look with our new cabinets but it was too yellow for a whole house. 5. Pure White: this was too sterile for our house in the spaces we were painting. If you have southern and western rooms and like crispy whites, could be a good possibility. 4. White Flour: It was reading a little to pink in the space. BUT I wish we had more neutral walls to start with to see it on a better blank canvas. For whatever reason, this sample disguised our heavy texture the best. I might try it in a bedroom. 3. Greek Villa: I see the appeal! It was skewing too yellow for us, but it was probably impacted by the surrounding yellow walls we’re painting over. Worth sampling! 2. Shoji: it came across to dark and almost chocolate-y especially at night. If our living room had more natural light and we didn’t want a crisper white it could’ve been a contender. 1. Alabaster: truth be told, we didn’t like it at first when we sampled it (the first sample swatch omg). But as we were narrowing out others, we decided to do bigger swatches and then we liked it! We also realized we wanted that LRV (82) to get the brightness we need. It’s looking beautiful so far!! I hope this is helpful!
