The average person doesn’t wake up and go into town for their job to lose money. Yet they expect the farmer that has millions in overhead to not make much of anything. Be real, those people would quit after a year or two of farming and realizing what a loss could be.

big fan of yours channel awesome job keep it up I'm a farmer down in Idaho farm barley alfalfa farming is basically, like gambling some years, you make big bucks. Some years you don't some years you do all right unfortunately, that's just how it works

People seriously don’t understand that a bulk of a farmer’s wealth is tied up in the farm. Many farmers have little money outside of the farm for luxuries

what most people outside of farming see is gross sales they have NO idea what the inputs cost or that a lot of the time all your getting done is cash flowing to stay in business

Zach has literally said he has been very fortunate to fund his farming and grow faster than others because of his social media stuff. Good for him. Zachs isn’t a great farm to look at for how the average farmer is doing.

general population doesn't realise the long terms that farmer work to, I work on a 10yr average and do well over that time but take a 1yr snapshot and I could be negative or positive income
