One thing I had one of my couples too, and ended up really living was having them walk up on the altar with them and allow me to get one group shot of them all up there standing and then go sit down in the second row as the first row is typically reserved for parents and grandparents and siblings that aren’t in the party. They were really adamant about not having a lot of wedding party photos, but still wanted to emphasize their people standing up there with them for a brief moment out of the ceremony. It worked really cool.

Also you reduce the instance of the random boomer with an iPad leaning into the aisle to take pictures. Because no matter how often you tell ppl not to take photos, they will.
