@shilpy.jain.p: You don’t need fancy moves to feel good in your body, but simple shapes and 10 minute for yourself. These are my daily essentials. Specially now as a mom, I sometimes don’t have enough time to do a full practice and on days like these I try to do atleast these 4 movements to feel my best. 1. Cat and cow - 60 seconds. Arch while inhaling, round while exhaling. Simple move but works like a charm for the spine 2. Malasana - 60 seconds. Also a great pose to doom scroll or watch Netflix. Traditionally it was considered as a resting pose. But in current lifestyle this pose has become challenging for lot of us. Practicing it daily ensures that our hips are well oiled and we are able to support day to day activity with strength and flexibility. 3. Downdog - 60-120sec. If you feel this is easy try holding this for 2 mins. 4. Child’s pose- 120 sec. A pose that we definitely need to do in today’s age where we get stimulated so easily and need something to do all the time. Rest take a moment for yourself. Nothing to see, nothing to observe. Just us and the breath.
