I tried this thing out. It is tough on the concentric (squeezing together motion) but literally 0% eccentric (release motion). Sure you can gain muscle on concentric movements but you're leaving sooooo much gains on the table. Its like doing a pull up but you only do the concentric motion and just let go right after.
