How many tests do you need to do to gain your license as a foreign vet in the US? In Canada it’s 5 tests, each are $20,000 😬 after the first test you can gain a supervised license, and have 3 years to complete the others. Not sure how it compares with your process!

I thought about going to Mexico to do it since it is cheaper but then i did hear it was complicated to transfer

Trust me girl your vet tech experience is going to be soooo helpful when you are able to start practicing as a doctor. I got more experience working as a vet tech here (especially ER) than staying in Mexico. The Medicine is also in my personal opinion significantly different.

Question our doctor went to vet school in Mexico but I do think she went to the only accredited school and so it was easier to transfer here was your not accredited?
