With a lightsaber being able to penetrate with any lunge then that’s the easiest tactic bc it’s quick and difficult to defend against. Only way to beat it is be faster, have a longer reach

Turn On Tank Stance :
So I'm bot trained in any kind of sword fighting, I'm all hands and some weapons (Tonfa and Escrima) but I've always been curious as to why when I see sword sparing, the only ever move back and forth. Especially against an opponent utilizing foward thrusts, I want hell almost need to step of center line if I want to hit him and defend myself.
