Ask for it early! We got ours at 10 months but our pediatrician is giving it as early as 6 months!

Former neonatal ICU nurse here! Ask your doctor for it early. A lot of them will give them to him early, especially with the current outbreaks.

I breastfed and I let germs get to them to build their immune systems . 🥰 older siblings brought germs home from school and my babies went outside as soon as the weather was nice . My oldest is 12. Never been vaccinated. Breastfed till 1. & is completely plantbased. Thrives in school & she’s our sports star ♥️the little ones are following suite.

Ask for it early and also quarantine him. If you have to go out, make sure he has a vaccinated babysitter and sanitize your hands before getting in the car and wash hands before touching him

Keep him out of public and get a dog so he can build his immune system

I am fully vaccinated and got full blown measles with all the symptoms in 2023, at the time I had a 6 month old medically complex baby and an unvaccinated 1 1/2 yr old. Neither of them had symptoms.

In some cases like an out break they can immunise early! I’ve been researching as I have a 2 year old that’s only had the first one (second is due when he’s 4)

You stay home and only let family visit, when they visit they wash hands, they don’t kiss and ideally they don’t hug or hold. It sucks but the alternative sucks more

We had our twins get it early. We were traveling to Florida when they were like 7 months and I was too nervous about it so our ped gave them the mmr early!

I asked for my daughters MMR a little early. They have it to her at 10 months instead of waiting. She is healthy and thriving at 2! 🥰

Nothing. If they do catch it you can get vaxed during if there are complications.
Ours had it at 7 months, no complications and he is perfectly fine. Just pay attention & if they get it call your peds so they are aware and know that they may need to administer it. Make sure you know what is normal and what is concerning.

You can ask for it early. My ped said if there is an outbreak in our area she will personally call to offer it to us early.

We are keeping our boy covered in public places which is few and far between. No restaurants. All visitors must be fully vaccinated. No play dates with other babies that aren’t vaccinated yet. Wash hands when finished at any store and when we get home from anywhere.
