As I experienced; if you give your AuPair something back and show her that your greatful for what she does/ do her a favor if she‘d like to do a trip ect. - if it‘s like that, we love to do everything and don’t even call it „work“ but if it‘s the way that she‘s doing everything and works 45 hours, get‘s nothing back then it‘s just not a nice feeling for us aupairs as we feel like you aren‘t apprechiate what we‘re doing and we would feel like your maid instead of being included in the hostfamily. If y’all know what I mean. 🙈😊

I’m a nanny to a stay at home mom and she knows when I am there she can stay in her room as long as she wants cause I have everything under control. It’s also easier for me because I have my routine with the kids, especially in the morning, getting them ready for school it’s just easier that way !

I'm an aupair, and every morning, they hand me the baby so they can rest, I love spending time with the kids, so I'm always happy when it's my turn to be with him! Also, I would never think they are lazy, I see how hard caring for kids is

Im a SAHM with 4 kids and a full time nanny! No guilt necessary! If you can afford it, take the help. Good quality and loving help is the best thing you can do for yourself and in turn makes you a better mom! The hate usually comes from a place of jealousy unfortunately
