I had a 7am appointment a few weeks back. First appointment of the day. I had to be there at 6:45. I was first seen at 7:30. When I questioned the Dr he said well that’s not my fault. And at that point I had already had enough and I said really? Because when I got here the only other car in the lot was the receptionist.

I was given an 8 am appointment and told to arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork. I got there at 7:45 and waited till 8 for them to unlock the door. I complained and the girl just said we don’t start till 8. Then make my appointment for 8:15

My son’s new dentist told me his appt was at 9:15, so we showed up at 9 for paperwork. At 9:30 we hadn’t been seen and ppl that came in after us were called back. I asked what happened and they said “oh the actual appointment is at 9:30 but she told you 9:15 so you’d be here in time for paperwork”. Even another mom was really confused as to why they did that. I’ve always been told the appt time and to show up 15 mins early for paperwork” not the time I need to be there for paperwork and not the actual appointment.

arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early, this dr has policy you can't be seen if your 15 minutes late. I didn't get checked in till 15 minutes past my appointment as the line was long. nurse came out and said they couldn't see me, explained what happened and she said that's not their fault get here earlier.... I argued and proved I was here 15 minutes before as requested, still refused to see me and tried to charge me. I never paid and never went back.

My OB office switched to a new system to centralize with the hospital system and they're struggling to manage it, so when I was 10 minutes late due to an unexpected road closure, they were so pissy about it. Mind you I'm otherwise always on time and have never gone back on time even before the switch. It's not the fault of the staff but this expectation of arriving so early just to sit is unacceptable. I think we'd all be willing if it was actually worth but time and again it's just our time wasted.

I was taking my child to the dr and because if an accident was going to be maybe 10 minutes late so I called and they said I would have to reschedule. I told the girl I will be there in 10 minutes check her in because we both know the dr will be at least an hour late.

I will arrive however early they tell me the first time. If I am not seen on time, I will never bother being early again. Doubly so if they have me fill out questionnaires just to ask me the exact same questions again in the room- or don’t bother to read what I put down.

I got yelled at today bc I didnt know my ex husbands new wife's info (birthdate/address/phone number/social....yes social!) when I handed them the health insurance cards today. when I said I don't speak to her for personal reasons and I don't care to know her ssn for any reason, I was called a crappy parent who just sends my kids with anyone....like what?!

They NEVER look at any of that information 😕 It's utterly stupid 🙄 Your doctor does not care about you or your health they only care about how much money they can get from your insurance company. You are only a check to them.

Got told to do online check in. Online check in said “We will let you know when we are ready to call you to the exam room.” 30 minutes later I get a text saying I didn’t arrive for my appointment so I need to reschedule. While I was sitting in the waiting room. I got told “oh you need to check in with the receptionist “. Are you effen kidding me?!?!? I did BOTH I did get seen but my BP was HIGH wonder why????
