I have aligned my resume align 100% w/the PDs, applying for best fit roles. and yet, the minute they see my name, LI profile etc., it’s a wrap. I wish people would tell the truth about what’s happening. Much of what’s going on in the market place is systematic, systemic, and outright racist, sexiest, & ageist. The federal banning of protection for protected classes has made employment/hiring a free for all- harkening to a time when only certain people got jobs. Between AI, greed, and the current administration, only certain groups of people are getting jobs while many others are being screened out- on purpose. Companies have been given the nod to discriminate & many are doing it with glee. Nevermind that entire career fields have and are being decimated by the this current so called administration. The strategies of the before times, are no longer adequate for the present reality.

Companies are only hiring overqualified individuals or people w/ extremely similar experience because turnover is high and they rarely actually invest in training people to the standard they should 👎🏼
