That sweater is insanely gorgeous!!! I think the colors matter so much—in this case they’re stunning perfect. But poor color choices looks crazy lol!

It’s like cars, some people think they’re amazing but I just see metal and think about it for its utility, and can only somewhat appreciate the craftsmanship. I love crochet and knitting and think it’s beautiful. But also, in this case, I think it’s the colors and fit

wait but I love them and all the color sm esp the cardigan! I always find people knitting only in neutrals seems so much more common and to me is always way too boring.

it's the colors, fair isle in variegated or self striping yarn is a recipe for disaster. gotta go for solid colors and need to be careful to pick complimentary colors that contrast enough to show off the colorwork
