@compass.acres: 🍂 Fall Garden Cleanup — 3 Ways I Do It! 🍂 When it comes to garden cleanup, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Here’s how I handle my 28 garden beds 👇 1️⃣ Leave the Leaves Honestly, why clean up in fall when I’ll be back at it in spring? By then, the leaves pull right out, no struggle! Plus, this method supports pollinators, protects soil, and adds organic matter as it breaks down. 🌿 2️⃣ Cut + Drop I simply cut the foliage and let it drop in place. It looks tidier, keeps nutrients in the soil, and acts as a natural mulch while everything decomposes. Bonus: it still gives wildlife some cozy cover through the winter. 🐞 3️⃣ Full Cleanup Sometimes, I want things to look neat — especially near paths or high-traffic spots.
