My Great Uncle used to have a 'purple bottle', got rid of everything, from putting onto a wound, to diluted and was the 'cure' for everything!

I asked the pharmacy in my local village last year and he looked at me like I'd four heads didn't know what I was talking about ,we used get then in the chemist the pharmacist used to make them up for you

My girls nan on their dads side made me some concoction when I was sick one time and I had to sip it, she gave me a pot of it and i slept for about 3 days and was feeling better not long after drinking this stuff.

I moved to England and was run down, grew up on a tonic. of course me mum says you need a good tonic! so I plodded off to the chemist and asked for a tonic. 🤣they had NO clue what I was talking about.

I have a local chemist that makes their own cough syrup. Years ago we would of went to Foleys chemist and they'd make creams and all sorts of tonics.

If I were to make tonics with all the daily need minerals and vitamins by extracting in honey do u have an idea of leaves and berries that would cover most of it? Im ferment some things in honey but im lost when it comes to know how much of what from nature will cover daily intake. Hope I make sence :).

we didnt have them for ourselves but our vet had them for animals. you either got a pink bottle or a blue bottle and they cured everything. our local pharmacist however, does make his own tonics - probably not natural but id defo take a tonic if i knew a woman who made them
