As a kid in the early 2000’s I loved dark fantasy,darker kids movies,etc. Managed to find a lot of older stuff like that in my older cousin’s old stuff. Was definitely still too wild for me😭Though I do appreciate how the 80’s definitely didn’t mind experimenting with weirder concepts,and practical effects
