Yesss Burgers is amazing, they have phenomenal breeding/conservation programs. They used to have a behind the scenes tv show. You can find it on youtube but it is in Dutch.

burgers is amazing! I'm not a fan of zoos but this one i happily recommend. I grew up close to it so i went regularly. ans still excited to see the manatees everytime 😂

As a dutchie I love this zoo so much! I go there several times a year and the accessibility is amazing. However it’s a workout for the person pushing my wheelchair because of the hills o I’m always very grateful for them😅🩷

LOVE burgers zoo. it's my favourite zoo in the Netherlands. I love searching for the animals instead of them being displayed to you everywhere. also the ecodisplays are a huge plus! as a certified animal caretaker, this place always makes me happy hahaha

Love Burgers ^^ used to have a subscription as a kid. Went every month 😁 Apenheul is pretty close to Arnhem and a really cool experience too 🥰

Little fun fact, the manatees originally lived in the rainforest part of the park. The mangrove was rebuild in 2017 and the manatees got moved from the rainforest to the mangrove.
