It states in Matthew 16: 24-27, that whoever wants to be Jesus' deciple, he must deny himself, meaning he must deny his fleshly desires (sin), they must pick up their cross and follow him, meaning, he must pick up his responsibilities as a follower of Christ and he must follow Jesus. It also says that whoever wants to save their life will lose it but whoever loses his life for Jesus' and the gospel's sake will find it. Meaning, that whoever saves his fleshly desires (sin) will lose it but whoever loses his fleshly desires, for Christ's and for the gospel's sake, will find a new life (change) Matthew 26-27 - "What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can someone give in exchange for their soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory and he will award each person according to what they have done." Jesus loves us so much that he died for our sins and so that we can have a relationship with our heavenly Father. Repent, have faith and trust in God, and share the gospel💕✝️🤗
