i have long artificial nails. everytime I go to the bathroom, my pitty races me because she wants to scratch her neck on my nails while I pee. if I close the door, she will try and bust through for her bathroom booty scratches

my boy dog is not at all food motivated. his love language is words of affirmation. if you talk to him softly and tell him what a good boy he is, he’s handsome, etc, he will do whatever you want. he will also only poo in private bc he’s polite 😂

My dog found a sweet potato (her absolute favorite treat) in a patch of grass 8-9 years ago, she will not end her walk till she goes by and spends 15 minutes throughly inspecting the area for another. I’ve made a promise to myself that when her time comes for her last walk, there will be the biggest sweet potato I can find in that spot🥰

my dog will only eat food from the floor, if it's in a bowl he will tip it until it's empty then proceed to eat 🙄 try explaining THAT to the dog sitter " oh just throw his on the floor" like worst pet mom ever lol

My dog refuses to eat out of a dog bowl. We’ve tried plastic, metal, ceramic. He just wants to eat off the same .50 plate from target that we do. Ours are grey and pink. His is mint green so we know the difference 😭

my dog one time got in our living room during holidays times. two important things: my mom LOVES holiday chocolate, and there are gates closing the living room off from the dogs. well one time, she got in. i was terrified, i mean i have a beagle too and he has eaten lots of chocolate and it’s not a fun time. anyway, we go into the living room to check the damage, turns out she didn’t even touch the chocolate, only ate the cardboard box

My dog has a rope toy that came with cherries on it and he has ripped all five of them off and is obsessed with them, he has to have one when going to bed, he hides them, he gets very upset if he can’t get to it. He’s so cute though.

When my dog tries to beg for food, I'll say "Sit like a gentleman" and he'll back up and sit down. I did not teach him that part! He just decided that is what it means to be a gentleman.

My dog, Daniel, will ONLY eat in a group setting. So, if we're not in the kitchen where his food bowl is, he'll grab mouthful and bring it into whatever room we're sitting in, drop it in the floor and eat it one piece at a time while making an uncomfortable amount of eye contact.

I have accidentally trained both my dog and cat to follow me into the bathroom for “pee pets”. Now if I’m peeing and not petting I get yelled at by two animals.

I work at a boarding facility so sometimes I bring my dog with me and put him in one of the kennels that we use for dogs that come in for baths. He sits there and stares at me like he’s one of those dogs on the ASPCA commercials mind you he’s also shaking he’s trembling. He’s been boarded at my job many times. Me and my coworkers just laugh at him

1. My dog requires a hug when I get home. He used to run around the house and knock everything over. I put my arm out like a cartoon butler and he puts his paws on my arm and gives a kiss. 2. His only punishment is a pool noodle. He hates them. 3. He gets a Saturday egg. Idk how he know what day it is but he gets impatient about it 😂

my dog is so polite he will sit and stare at you until you invite him up on the couch with you he also will stare if something is in his way he refuses to touch anything that isnt his its funny, he also thinks he is trapped in 1 spot if he has a blanket over him🤣🤣🤣
