I think I’ve just discovered one of the most affordable food spots in Osu, and honestly I’m still shocked at how good the experience was. 😭🤍 Eat Savoury is officially on my list of budget-friendly restaurants in Accra that actually serve quality food without breaking the bank. Let me break it down because the prices weren’t making sense….in a GOOD way. I started with starters: samosas, and fried calamari. All of them were 50gh each, crispy, well-seasoned and honestly better than some places that charge almost double. Then came the real shocker: the ribeye steak with potato wedges for 120gh. Yes, 120gh. I don’t know which restaurant in Accra is pricing steak at this amount. And the wedges were golden and crispy actually the perfect combo. But what finished me was the sides. Almost every side is 20gh. Even the jollof. TWENTY. GHANA. CEDIS. In this economy? I kept asking them if they were sure because the taste wasn’t adding up with the price at all. The flavors were on point, the portions were decent, and the ingredients actually tasted fresh. And even their drinks surprised me creamy piña colada, refreshing strawberry daiquiri… better than some high-priced places I’ve tried. One thing about me is that I visit new restaurants with zero expectations so I can genuinely experience everything with an open mind. And Eat Savory honestly exceeded what I thought I would get. The space is simple, cozy and perfect for a quiet hangout or casual date. The staff were warm and welcoming too, they really made the whole experience feel personal. So if you’re looking for a place this festive season where you can enjoy good food on a budget, without spending 800–1000gh on a basic three-course meal, Eat Savory needs to be on your list ASAP. They also do deliveries, so even if you can’t make it there, you can still enjoy their menu from home or office or wherever you are. Don’t say I didn’t put you on. More spots loading because Accra has gems if you know where to look. #AccraFoodie #GhanaFoodie #OsuEats #EatSavory #FoodieOnABudget
