I always park next to the cart return and put my kids in first. Then groceries and return cart. If im ever a couple spots away from the cart return, I lock my door so no one can get in with my kids.

As a single mom of a 3 and 1 year old I park by the shopping carts so I can just put my kids in, load my groceries, and return the cart without being far away from them in the car 😊

When I had my daughter I would put my son in first. Because he would seem to try and run away from and this way I knew he was safe in the car.
