Back in grad school during a study session we got into a discussion about being required to carry ID. Of the dozen or so of us, I was the only one who said no. I ended up doing some research by calling the ACLU, the country prosecutors office, my Representatives office. None knew the answer. I then called the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. They confirmed my understanding was correct. Which makes me believe this officer is the exception. As in exceptionally dumb.
