I lost my one of my closest gamer friend almost 4 yrs ago. His gamer tag is the first one I see when I log on. Other than my sister, his death was the most hardest and painful Ive ever experienced. Ive even messaged him knowing he'll never reply but I can't help it. I miss him so much.

Im in my early 40's and have lost 2 friends over the years. I still hop on gta every once in a while to just remember the fun. I have 2 cars that have personalized plate reading RIP7oh2 and RipDreal. Miss those boys. Life does happen fast.

I lost a friend about 7 years ago. He was murdered. His brother still logs in and re reads messages. It always makes me stop and hold my breath every time I see his GT log on. Breaks my heart🥺

Man, my old lady broke her leg and I took a few months off gaming to help take care if her. "Trouble" a Rust player had cancer, never got his name but a true online friend. miss you bro

My best friend and I beat borderlands 2 and all the dlc together. He passed from afib before borderlands 3. I can’t bring myself to play the news ones without him.

When I was in elementary school I met my first best friend. He introduced PC gaming to me and we would play for hours together while LANing and online. From Half-Life to AoE to C&C to WoW.. we were inseparable. The years passed by so fast.. in college now and his brother is coming home from the military. They are planning on going hunting. Jason would be found with his rifle and cleaning supplies to prepare for the hunt. His rifle unexpectedly discharged while cleaning. Took me many years to give up the persuit we left unfinished in WoW.... I miss you Jason. #westandtogether

It sucks more knowing they won’t ever log back on. Jan 2014 I lost my Brian, and I’ll forever treasure our GTA, Saints row and MW2 games together and the random Facebook pokes. I still have a poke from him, I won’t return it because I know I won’t get it back 😭 I miss him so much.

I hate to admit I am that person who stopped getting on…life got away from me. I have a child who is medically delicate and the toll of taking care of someone so complex has put more wear and tear on ME that IM into the doctors more often now too, therapy now for my mental health cuz I’m not ok…most nights I don’t even have to motivation to even care for myself, I’m so tired I just go right to bed… I still massage “I’m still alive, just busy.” But that’s it…I miss my gaming buddies…
