Z-A had just over half the budget of most switch games, I think they made the right decision to prioritize fun gameplay and making the Pokémon themselves look good over voice acting and something as incociqential to gameplay as wall textures.

People would HAAAAATE voice acting, especially on replays. People are already crying about too many/unskippable cutscenes. It'll get 10x longer with voice acting.

i hate lip sinking to nothing so annoying either don't animate the lips, give me fictional sounds (like banjo kazooie), or give me voice acting (I'm not even picky about what language it's in)
