@goodfoodau: Get ready to fight! Boodle fight, that is. It's a Filipino feast with origins in the military ("boodle" is American military slang for contraband sweets) where large groups eat off banana leaves with their hands. What started in the jungle out of necessity where soldiers share a meal has morphed into a celebratory feast often enjoyed on birthdays, Christmas, or on the beach. We chatted to the chef behind the first boodle fight of a series hosted at Parramatta Lanes, Tricia Garong from Lola's Table, and the director of the Filipino Food Movement, Anna Manlulo, on how to boodle fight right.
