I love this idea! I’m going to give it a try. One thing I want to say is that I’d recommend Wordreference over Reverso - WR is great for giving context for each entry. Reverso can be okay but take it with a grain of salt because a lot of the entries are sourced from Netflix subtitles for example - they will try to match the English subtitles with the Italian subtitles as a “translation” but it’s not a word for word translation because the Italian subtitles can be pretty different from the English version due to creative choices in the translation.

I much Spanish speaker and I think I started trying to learn Italian maybe around September of this year and I figured oh wow this is so easy. I instantly understood so much so I said a goal to learn Italian by December but then I realized that there are certain things in the Italian language that are totally new to my way of thinking and at the same time they seem familiar which is kind of weird but anyway now I realize that four months wasn’t unrealistic goal and I’m sad. But I’ve learned A LOT even niche things which I think is good
