same girl, people are always trying to get me to cut my hair, like why??? I like how it looks, that's all that matters. and then then they turn around and get extensions🤨 then you KNOW why they want you to cut it.. you do you and what makes you feel happy and pretty❤️🤗

THANK YOU! anyone i know who has long beautiful hair all tell me the same thing. DO. NOT. CUT. IT. it's been growing out of my head for 4+ years. of course it's gonna have split ends and damage. but I don't care. it's long! I haven't had long hair in forever 😭 I'm never cutting it

I just cut 6 inches off my hair and sobbed for days. I am 30 and I grew it from a pixie cut for 15 years. It grows extremely slowly. Only barely trimmed the whole time. 15 years to reach my tailbone. And one day I accepted that most of it is ratty and sparse af. I cut it and i didn’t even get the worst of it because I couldn’t bear to cut more. and it hurts so much because I know I won’t have long hair again until im like 45. If it doesn’t all fall out. Because it is all falling out. My braid is only one inch thick. What’s left of it is just barely anything. My hair was the only thing I ever liked about myself and I had to cut it and that barely even helped because it’s all falling out and is so thin and just awful. Ugh. Don’t let anyone tell you to cut your hair ever.

im so mad, my hair was this length and went in for some face framing curly cut and even tho she said she's leave my ends alone I ended up losing like a foot of hair NEVER AGAIM ugh

I tried to trust a salon once she cut half my length when I went for a trim…I went home and cried (I have alopecia arreata so me and my bald spots try to hold onto what we can)

Tbh there are OTHER things than just trims that you can do to keep your ends healthy. Satin pillow cases, bonnets, oils and leave in’s that work for YOUR hair… I just started “search and destroying” my own dead ends at home and my hair has never looked better. People just get hung up on trimming because they’re jealous istg.
