Just had a “so-called friend” ask me to help level his floor because his builders couldn’t manage it. I ordered all the flooring, agreed a fair price… then two days before, he backs out saying he’s found it cheaper online — but still wants to use my fitters! The cheek! 🤯 People forget about the overheads — staff wages, tax, vans, rent, stock — it all adds up.
