The passenger next to me (who happened to be a pilot) told me it was the Catatumbo Lightning, one of the world’s most incredible natural phenomena. ⚡️ It happens over Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela, where lightning strikes up to 300 nights a year, sometimes thousands of times in one night, without thunder.
