im sick and tired of being told that everything is "a slight pinch" "a bit of pressure" or "a little uncomfortable". can we start being honest with patients about what they can expect? and why is every test so utterly humiliating and dehumanizing?

Did this and results were normal but the balloon expulsion was one of the most painful things I’ve ever done :/

I had one of these done. Can confirm it is NOT fun 😭 But I did get diagnosed with anismus/dyssenergic defecation, so now my GI and I have a plan in place for pelvic floor therapy.
