Obwarimu was at one point the only guaranteed course one could get employment if they came from Gusii. First of all, ironically the abagusii are not leading in education. It's Kikuyu, kalenjin, Abaluhya then Abagusii... There are no industries or factories and it was significantly harder to get employment in other regions a while back. And law enforcement was kind of reserved for kalenjin during the Moi regime. That is what I think is the reason. Yaani you learn Kikisii but you speak Kuria. Anyway, I am also a teacher. Teaching was 4th in my list of courses I gave priority but KUCCPS made it 1st. About house design, basically on average, Kisiis own 3 room house, you don't need any design for that than a rectangular divide in 3, and rectangular pyramid roofing.
