@kekecarnivore: I tried to switch from Kerrygold to European butter… big mistake. ⸻ I made this quick and clean Carnivore meal using my @Gourmia Smokeless Grill Griddle Air Fryer — hotel edition. Started with Canadian bacon, seared perfectly in European butter (which I thought I’d like — but nope, @KerrygoldUSA still wins). Set the bacon aside, cracked three over-medium eggs, sprinkled sea salt, and cooked them in the leftover fat. Then I stacked it up: Bacon → Egg → Bacon → Egg → Bacon — pure Carnivore satisfaction. Simple ingredients, real fuel, and it kept me full all day long. This is clean eating — no sugar, no seed oils, no regrets. ⸻ What’s your favorite butter brand for cooking Carnivore meals? 🧈 Drop it below — I need to know if anyone beats Kerrygold!

I loved Kerrygold butter so much until I tried the Kirkland New Zealand butter that is a few bucks cheaper (especially around the holidays) and I buy it by the case. The schmancy butter is for eating straight out of the package. I learned a trick yesterday about nuking cheese atop parchment paper for 60 to 90 seconds until the cheese is browned and puffy. Allow it to cool and if it peels off the paper, it's perfect. You could use your fancy butter as a spread on this Carnivore cracker.

Bummer 😞. You're right, there is nothing like kerrygold butter. I've tried several kinds of flavors since starting carnivore and I always come back to kerrygold or Costco grass-fed in the end

Looks sooo good! 😍Now I want Canadian bacon😍😍😍. I actually use different European butters for different things. Maison Bordier is my ultimate favorite, the kind you just savor on its own. Isigny Sainte Mère is another one I’ll happily eat by itself because it’s too good to waste in a pan. I love Delitia from Parma too because it has that really creamy, delicate flavor that’s amazing on its own. Kerrygold was the only high fat European butter I used for baking before I started Carnivore, but now I use it for eggs like I do with the Kirkland New Zealand butter on low heat. If you’re looking for a good American butter, Vital Farms is a true grass fed option and Tillamook is another solid one, rich, creamy, and easy to find.
