@.marieyah: As a Philippine Red Cross Youth Volunteer, my first Masskara deployment is both a challenge and experience and will always hold a special place in my heart, Despite the unpredictable weather — rain or shine — we stood our ground with one purpose: to serve, to care, and to make a difference. It wasn’t easy. There were moments of exhaustion, long hours, and challenges that truly tested our strength. But amidst it all, I found something deeper — the spirit of volunteerism, the warmth of teamwork, and the fulfillment that comes from helping others without expecting anything in return. Every drop of rain, every smile from the crowd, and every moment spent in the field reminded me of why I chose this path — to be a light in someone else’s dark moment, even in the smallest way possible. This experience wasn’t just about deployment; it was about growth, service, and heart. Grateful beyond words for the lessons, the people I met, and the memories we created under both the sun and the rain. This journey tested my limits and touched my soul.
