Yes, solar panels are great out here in Puerto Rico, but Luma is robbing seniors and still trying to charge them 200 to 250 dollars for electric they are controlling how much power we get from our solar panel we must disconnect from the powerline!!!

Everyone thinking about getting solar please look at your energy providers policies on distributed energy resources. You may be able to sell energy back to the grid, however this may not be the case. You need to educate yourself on solar and solar policies before installing it. DO NOT TRUST your residential solar installers to have your best interest at heart. Many of them will sell you solar even if it doesn’t benefit your situation, they only want to sell solar. Please do your own research to not get taken advantage of. Additionally your solar panels can not be shaded at all. If even one panel is not receiving sunlight the entire string of panels will not function. Please keep this in mind when thinking about a location for your array.
