he was cheating that entire time. at the very least every break to avoid the cheater label. but emotional cheating exists and since he keeps meeting girls to do that-over his break is my guess-then he was at the very least emotionally cheating for even longer

Call me crazy, but when somebody starts exclusively dating somebody that they were cheating on their previous partner with, then that person has already proven two things to that new partner. One, is that their dishonest two, that they’re capable of cheating. Three, that they will hide things from you.
