@madnatorr2: Oh I loved him🎃 For the Fake blood I actually didn’t measure but here’s what I believe it is by eyeballing : I made homemade Strawberry jam for the cake filling. The left over I used as the fake blood for the top of the cake. Strawberry Fake bloood ingredients: Ingredients • a whole container of fresh strawberries (hulled & chopped) • ½ cup sugar • 1–2 tbsp lemon juice • (Optional) a drop or two of deep red food coloring for a deeper “blood” shade (the brand I used Satin Ice Food Colur Gel ) Instructions 1. Add strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice to a saucepan. Cook on medium heat 10–15 minutes, until berries break down and release lots of juice. 2. Let it cool slightly. Transfer to a blender (or use immersion blender) and blend until smooth. Add small amounts of water until you get your blood like consistency. If you have a good blender, you won’t need to strain. If it’s lumpy , strain it. Or leave it lumpy ..could look more gorey. 3. Let it cool completely. It will thicken just a touch, but still stay pourable/runny. TIPS: • Too thick? Add a little water or extra lemon juice. • Too thin? Put it back on the stove for a few minutes to reduce slightly. Keeps 5–7 days in the fridge in an airtight container. #spookyseason #fallaesthetic #halloweendecor
