We do this but both dry and in water. We’ve also done it for the sheep and cattle. Chamomile, nettle and dandelion are favourites here. Beetroot powder is a special favourite of the cows.

it would be really interesting to hear how the horses ended up choosing those. Did it go as espected? Did they choose the herbs that you expected them to kind of self medicate? I'm so curious about this

my horses LOVED the bentonite clay water I'd put out for them! and immediately stopped them from root digging

my horses love it!! i have a horse that stops drinking when it get cold and now i make tea for her with camille and its her fav! i give them lots of herbs with the tea and they all like it. 1 of them is fat and i give them also their vitamines in the tea🙂 no fight with food and no extra food

Make sure to use sea salt in the salt bucket. Or stone salt. Never use cooking salt(calciumchrorid).
