Harm reduction. That beer could’ve prevented him from turning to another harder substance, or may have prevented him from putting himself in a dangerous scenario to get $ for alc or drugs. It’s a very nuanced topic. We’re all closer to being that guy asking for a beer than being the next Bezos.
